The Coastal Carolina Youth Conference is being hosted at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC. We are excited about the opportunity and are eager to see what God can do through this conference.
We are excited to be having Pastor Brian Peterson come this year as our conference speaker. Pastor Peterson was the youth pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Matthews, NC for almost seven years. He is a gifted speaker and has a genuine passion to see young people choose to live for Christ. Brian has spoken at various conferences and retreats. He is also an adjunct professor at Bob Jones University and Maranatha Baptist Bible College. One of Brian's greatest burdens is for young people. Ever since he dedicated his life to the Lord during those important years, he has had a passion to communicate to teenagers that "The greatest thing in life is to live for God!"
Also joining us this year will be Mr. Matt Taylor. He will be doing special music and leading the congregational singing. Many of you who attended last year enjoyed Mr. Taylor's ministry and we are very excited to have him coming back again to this year's conference!
Our goals for the conference are:
1) To exhort and encourage our young people to grow in their relationship and knowledge of Christ through Biblically based and practically motivated preaching!
2) To give young people an opportunity to interact with other young people of like faith and desire. We long to create an environment in these two days that will not only allow, but promote the interaction of our young people with one another.
3) To have genuine fellowship (Hebrews 10:25) while enjoying some friendly competition and activity.
Please make your plans to join us for our third annual Coastal Carolina Youth Conference. We are working to have churches from Raleigh to Charleston to Florence join us for this conference. Please pray that God will enable us through His strength to make an impact through His Word in the lives of the next generation.
Thanks so much for your consideration.
Grace to you and peace,
Pastor Dave Wetterlund Jr.
