March Newsletter

Here we are at the start of spring and it is hard to believe that March has come and gone. Although it has been busy, there is so much to thank God for as we reflect on the last month.

Highlights from March

Luke Series - The last few messages from Luke have focused on the final days of Christ's early ministry. If you missed any of the series. You can catch up by listening to the audio archives or you can review the main points in the "Sermon Slides" page on our website.
Sunday Nights - The "Bug Zone" program for the kids and the "Understanding the Church" series for the adults have helped us grow closer as the body of Christ.

Ladies Retreat - We had a wonderful time at our annual Ladies of DELIGHT Retreat on March 10th & 11th at the Anchorage Christian Camp.  We thoroughly enjoyed our speaker, Rochelle Grass!  The music, skits, food & fellowship all added to this refreshing get-away!  Make plans to join us next year on March 16 & 17 at the Hilton in Myrtle Beach with our speaker Laura Story!
Fine Arts Results - Congratulations to all the kids from WCA that competed in the NCCSA fine arts competition. This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to develop talents for the glory of God. See all the results here!
Kids Play & concert for Haiti Awake - This last Wednesday night, the elementary singing groups at WCA put on "Patch the Pirate Goes to the Jungle" to help raise money for hurricane Mathew victims through Haiti Awake. The play was a great experience for the kids and a blessing to those who watched.
B.E.S.T Men's Basketball - Our men's basketball league got off to a great start this last month.

Our church’s emphasis in the month of March was communication. Our words matter, and the Bible says that we must be careful to handle our communication in a way that honors the Lord.

Let’s assume we speak 16,000 words per day. There are plenty of opportunities for our communication to be less than effective. Staying Connected

With all that goes on at Grace, it is hard to keep tabs on what is coming up next. We are working hard to keep everyone informed of the many opportunities to serve and be served. Here are a few other tips for staying connected with Grace!

  1. Read our bulletin - Now you can access it on our website under the media tab as well!
  2. Visit our website - Here you can find all of the upcoming events as well as sermon archives and other helpful information.
  3. Sync our calendar - To sync the church calendar to your phone or computer, you can use the buttons at the top of our website's calendar page.

Can you help us decide which L.I.F.E classes to teach in the fall?

Looking Forward

EASTER SUNDAY

Sunday, April 16, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, starting with a Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. at Wrightsville Beach, Access #8. (It’s worth getting up early!) Then we’ll give everyone time to go home and change clothes before gathering here. We’ll serve doughnuts and coffee in the foyer from 9:30 to 10:15 (no SS), and have our main Worship Service at 10:30.  There will be no Evening Service.
